A permanent magnet suction cup, also known as a magnetic suction cup, is a magnetic fixture widely used in mechanical processing fields such as machinery factories and mold factories. It can greatly improve the clamping efficiency of steel materials in magnetic permeability. The permanent magnet suction cup uses the high-performance rare earth material NdFeB (N40) as the inner core. The handle of the suction cup is turned by hand to change the magnetic system of NdFeB in the suction cup so that the workpiece to be processed is sucked or released.

In mechanical processing, mold manufacturing, and other industries, clamping of vises or press plates directly on the workbench has been used, which wastes a lot of valuable processing time and is extremely inefficient. With the emergence of high-performance neodymium iron boron rare earth materials, it has become a trend to develop magnet clips with neodymium iron boron permanent magnet materials, and permanent magnet suction cups have emerged.

Principles of application of permanent magnet suction cup. The permanent magnet suction cup is designed based on the principle of magnetic flux continuity and the principle of superposition of magnetic field. The magnetic circuit of the permanent magnet suction cup is designed into multiple magnetic systems. Through the relative movement of the magnetic system, the magnetic field strength on the working magnetic pole surface can be increased or eliminated, thereby achieving the purpose of clamping and unloading.

When designing a permanent magnet suction cup, the first thing to do is to carefully design the magnetic circuit. A good magnetic circuit structure can concentrate more magnetic flux on the working surface, meet the lifting requirements, and use NdFeB materials as little as possible. At the same time, when designing magnetic circuits, careful consideration should be taken into account that the operator can easily unload the work. The magnetic circuit of the permanent magnet suction cup is designed with two magnetic systems, divided into a movable part and a fixed part. Change the state of the active magnetic system, so that the working pole surface is in a state where the magnetic field is superimposed or a reverse magnetic field is generated, and the magnetic field is canceled. At the same time, in the permanent magnet circuit, in order to reduce magnet resistance and increase the magnetic flux density at key parts of the working pole surface, some soft magnetic materials are used as magnetic yokes.

Maintenance of permanent magnet suction cup: 1. Clean the surface of the suction cup before use to avoid scratches and affect the accuracy. 2. The working environment temperature is -40-50, and knocking is strictly prohibited to prevent magnetic force from falling. 3. Apply anti-rust oil to the working surface after use to prevent corrosion.
